Through my own journey to motherhood, I discovered my newfound passion for supporting families during the transformative journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Pursuing multiple certifications through Doula Canada has equipped myself to provide comprehensive care to your whole family.
About Kate's Doula Service
Kate's Doula Service is led by Katie, a certifying doula with Doula Canada. With a deep understanding of the physical and emotional needs of expectant and new mothers, Katie provides personalized support and guidance. She also is passionate about including the entire family in the process, equipping partners with the tools they need to support their spouse, and recognizing that the partners, themselves, require support as well
Kate's Doula Service was born out of a desire to provide support to parents beyond just the traditional model of prenatal care. Often prenatal classes are just that - prenatal and childbirth education with very little content to support the family once they are home with their new baby. And too often, parents walk in their front door and turn to each other and ask - now what?
The term Perinatal encompasses the period of time of pregnancy, childbirth, and the entire first year postpartum. Our Perinatal Care Classes will equip families to feel confident as they face their journey ahead.
